Moonlight Rose
Although roses have inspired many olfactory works of art, Moonlight Rose is like no other; showcasing a flower which is already popular with perfumers in a whole new light.
Two varieties combine to create the core of this composition: the Bulgarian Rose and the Taif Rose. The Taif rose is a unique species belonging to the Damask variety which gets its name from the Middle Eastern region where it grows, 2000 metres above sea level. These extraordinary climate conditions give the flower its unique fragrance.
THE INSPIRATION
“The idea behind the creation of this new fragrance was to pay homage to an extraordinary rose – the precious Taif Rose, which has a fragrance like no other. I combined it with a textured fruity Bulgarian rose and a particularly addictive Chypre base.” —Fabrice Pellegrin, Perfumer
